Band on the Run 5k

Join the Sequoyah community in supporting the “Spirit of Sequoyah” band by participating in our 4th Annual 5K and Fun Run on March 8. While running and walking through our campus you will be entertained and encouraged by our many talented band students. Playing music is their way of thanking you for supporting them. All proceeds from this run will be used to purchase equipment for our band students.

The day’s events will consist of a 5k and a Fun Run. If you’re not a runner, and just want to be supportive and score a race t-shirt, you can sign up as a Band Stander. Entry fee is $20 (prior to 2-25) for 5k and $15 for Fun Run or Band Stander. Shirts available to the first 300 entrants.

The race begins and ends at the Pope Athletic Complex, located five miles northeast of Claremore on Historic Route 66. The 5k kicks off at 9a, and the Fun Run at 10a.

Just a note: this is known for being a “flat” and “easy” course…no excuses!
