Dickens of a Ride

It’s a heatwave out there, but Dickens of a Ride will be here on Saturday, October 1! Hosted by Claremore Main Street and Bike-About Bicycles, the ride offers seven routes for all levels of riders, from the 7-mile Lazy Lake Loop to the 100-miler! Routes will take you through the scenic countryside west of Claremore, through Oologah, and then to the Claremore Lake area.

Dickens of a Ride will begin at Gazebo Park. Packet pick-up begins at 6a, or riders can pick up packets in advance at Bike-About Bicycles in downtown Claremore.

Things to know:

Rest stops will be well-supplied.
Mechanical and SAG support will be provided until 5p.
All riders are required to wear an ANSI, CPC, or Snell approved helmet.
Riders are required to obey all traffic laws.
Maps of the routes will be provided.
Be prepared for some hills.
Riders under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is also on a bicycle and riding with them.
Riders under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian sign Ride Release.
Rain or Shine. No refunds.
A rider breakfast will be served at Boom-A-Rang Diner beginning at 6a for just $2.99.
