Remember Me Run

The Claremore Fire Department Auxiliary has created a fun event for everyone! The ‘Remember Me’ Run will be held on Saturday, May 21, at Claremore Lake. This is not your ordinary 5k: it’s a glow run!

The ‘Remember Me’ 5k run/walk is a one-of-a-kind night experience; it’s not about how fast you run, it’s more about remembering our loved ones and enjoying the music-infused send-off to a neon-filled glow run! We encourage participants of all speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes to come ready to GLOW! So whether you are a casual walker or an avid runner, the ‘Remember Me’ Run invites you to put your neon on and be a part of a great time!

Register online HERE. Online registration closes on April 30. There is also a 1 mile fun run.

Packet pick-up will start at 5:30p on race day at Claremore Lake. ALL registered 5k glow run participants will receive a t-shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed for race day registration.

Claremore Fire Department Auxiliary has created this event to provide financial support to Claremore Fire Auxiliary. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Blue Star Mothers to support our troops. The 5k event will be electronically times. Overall male and female awards, in addition to the standard age groups, will receive medals and certificates. The fun run is not timed.

Please join us after the awards ceremony for a candlelit prayer. In memory of our recently fallen hero Jason Farley, we would like to pray for the citizens currently serving, have served or have fallen, fighting for our freedom, and protecting our communities on a daily basis.
