The earlier in the day I can get a serving of veggies in, the better. I used to go all day without eating any vegetables, up until dinner time. I later learned that habit was really throwing my nutrition out of balance… which can cause cravings for overeating, or eating unhealthy junk.
Today I am having my first serving as a snack at 10:30am. For celery, I like to add peanut butter with raisins, almond butter, or hummus. What time of day do you eat your first vegetable?
