Claremore Leadership Continues to Guide Statewide Innovation

roboticsOklahoma State Senator Marty Quinn and Phil Albert, President of Pelco Structural, LLC were recognized  among other leaders at the fourth annual Oklahoma Technology Showcase for their ongoing support innovation in industry. The event was hosted by the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) at the Broken Arrow campus of Northeastern State University.

Albert, a long-time Oklahoma Technology Showcase supporter, was thanked for his continued sponsorship of the program in addition to a $3,000 college scholarship awarded to students in the OCAST Intern program.

The annual event showcased eight of the state’s most innovative products and services and included a demonstration by the Claremore High School Robotics Team. Students Gavin Wallace and Nathan Beck demonstrated the technology they created that recently lead the Robotics Team to regional and national competition.

The Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority took the occasion to promote the positive business climate in Claremore and educate partner organizations and prospective businesses on the many recent advancements and growth that the community is experiencing.
