Last fall, you may have seen the opportunity to purchase a special FOP Rustic Cuff. The green and blue special edition bracelet was sold by Claremore college student, Kaitlyn Blair Thatcher.

Kaitlyn was a contestant in the Miss Northeastern State University on November 4th, 2015. She chose Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) as her platform and helped spread awareness about the disease. In addition to raising awareness, she raised funds for research by doing a Rustic Cuff fundraiser. A total of $515 was raised for FOP research.

You can learn more about FOP at www.ifopa.org.

Thank you, Ms. Kaitlyn!
