Want to Help This Unique Claremore Restaurant? You Can!

She Brews Coffee House looks like your traditional coffee shop and soup/sandwich lunch destination, but She Brews’ story goes so much deeper. Their slogan, “Promoting Success with Every Cup” is at the core of the organization, which was started in 2012 by Rhonda Bear.

Rhonda wanted to help people. She wanted to help her fellow women stop a cycle of relapsing into negative behavior after leaving incarceration. She turned that dream into a ministry coffee shop that gives previous incarcerated women a chance to get back on their feet and change the path of their lives.

Facts About She Brews:
• It all started with $300 and “a bunch of faith.”
• The lunch hot-spot is only 900 square feet.
• There are 15 women in her program.
• Helps women reunite with their children.
• Part of His House Ministries – a local non-profit with the same mission.
• Programs boast an 85% success rate.
• No government funding received.
• Rhonda Bear was named Leading Lady of the Year in Claremore in October.

The funds raised by this year’s Leadership Rogers County Golf Tournament will go to help She Brews expand its kitchen, including a new, restaurant-quality range and hood, to better serve both the citizens of Claremore and the women in need.
