Claremore Partners in Education were recognized at the annual Claremore Public Schools back to school meeting Monday, August 15th. Claremore Public Schools Superintendent Mike McClaren expressed a special appreciation to the full house of corporate sponsors supporting each school in the district. The Claremore Partners in Education include AXH Air-coolers, BancFirst, Baker Hughes, Hillcrest, Melton Sales, Pelco Structural, RCB Bank, and Rogers State University.
“The support our industry partners and local businesses have extended to the Claremore Public School district is astounding. We are proud to have each school in the district supported by our business community,” noted Jeri Koehler, Executive Director of the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority.
Claremore’s Partners in Education program is a joint effort between the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority and Claremore Public Schools. The program connects students and teachers with corporate and civic leaders. These partnerships help educators improve the academic and personal growth of all students.
The mission of the partnership is to unite businesses and the community with schools for the common goal of increasing the quality of education for all students in Claremore Public School while involving the community in the development of its own economic future.
