Claremore High School has been chosen to host the 2017 Regional Wrestling tournament on February 17-18. This is a really big deal to be chosen, and it means that 2,000 – 3,000 people will be visiting our fun little town for the weekend. Also, these folks are our neighbors, so let’s make sure they have a great time and want to return!
Here’s where we need help: Part of the role as host is to provide a hospitality room for the coaches and referees. CHS Wrestling will provide food, snacks, and drinks for the two-day period. Local businesses could help by donating any of these items. Your time would also be appreciated; if you can work an hour or two in the hospitality room, it would be a huge help!
The booster club is also working to create a booklet with coupons and/or business cards from area businesses and restaurants to encourage the visitors to dine and eat at our local stores.
