EMBRACE is a group for single adults based in Claremore, in relation to the First United Methodist Church. EMBRACE is a ministry in which single adults can leave the past in the past and embrace their singleness, no matter the reason. Build relationships with other single Christians as you strengthen your own relationship with God.
EMBRACE works hand-in-hand with local churches and community leaders to work on projects that otherwise would be ignored.
Friendships and relationships have been created without the pressure or awkwardness of dating. The group is a strong one, and members lean on one another. They often get together for impromptu dinners after a simple text or phone call.
Several times a year, members get together with other Tulsa-area singles groups for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. They create a larger network of support for singles, which builds confidence by recognizing that they can help one another with their gifts. EMBRACE members often attend seminars on topics such as divorce, coping with holidays, and how to enjoy life as a Christian single. Other fun events include Drillers games, Super Bowl parties, Valentine’s dinners, dances, and pool parties.
