Cortney, of Linen + Rust Event Design, Betsy Dutcher, and I, each channelled our inner beach babe to bring you this festive + tropical margarita, with a twist! It’s perfect for those warm summer nights, an evening with friends, or a fiesta themed soiree. Plus, it’s insanely easy to make!
Spicy Mango Margarita
serves one
2-3 parts Skinny Margarita Mix
1 part Spiced Tequila
coarse salt and cayenne for rim
jalapeño and lime for garnish
Take one plate, and pour coarse salt on it. Slide the lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim of your glass into the salt to create a salt rim.
Add Skinny Margarita Mix and Spiced Tequila into a shaker with ice, shake to combine. Add ice to your salted glass and pour your cocktail into the glass. Add in your mango popsicle, a jalapeño and lime wedge for garnish, and get ready to taste the festive tropics!
Of course you can make a few of these at a time or make a big batch to serve pitcher style (a better choice for parties).
