Enjoy ‘Yoga in the Park’ in Claremore!

If you know Jill Moody, you know she’s a super fun gal, and that she’s passionate about yoga and helping others improve their fitness skills. Jill is an aerobics instructor at the Claremore Super Recreation Center, teaching cycle, energy extreme, kickboxing, and of course, yoga!

She is beginning sunset yoga in the park on Friday, June 30. Class will be taught at Gazebo Park (under the gazebo, so even if it rains, you’ll be dry!) on Fridays at 8p. Each class will be 45 – 60 minutes long. Enjoy the sunset and yoga! And if it’s hot outside, remember that ‘hot yoga’ is all the rage right now.

How much does it cost? Rec center members who have the class option can attend for free as part of their membership. If you’re not a rec member, you can purchase a Day Pass for $5 at the rec center front desk, which allows you to take unlimited classes for that day. It’s a great way to try out different classes to see if they’re for you! (You can do this any day of the week, by the way, not just on Fridays.) Or you can purchase a class pass for $30, which is like a punch card that allows you to attend six different classes. There is no expiration date. Cost to join the Rec Center with a ‘classes only’ membership is just $33 per month! It’s well worth the monthly (no contract) membership. There is a large variety of classes available for all interests and levels.

Sunset Yoga is open to all fitness levels. Participants need to bring a yoga mat. Come on out and have fun and learn some new poses with Jill!

Namaste.
