Jeanetta Calhoun Mish is a scholar, poet, essayist, and the 2017-2018 Oklahoma State Poet Laureate. Her recent books are a poetry collection, What I Learned at the War, and Oklahomeland: Essays. Dr. Mish directs The Red Earth Creative Writing MFA at Oklahoma City University.
On Tuesday, October 17, she will be at Rogers State University in Claremore performing a reading of her work. This event is FREE and open to the public; all writers, poets, and creative souls are encouraged to attend. The reading will take place at 5p at the Baird Hall Performance Studio.
