This is Superintendent Bryan Frazier. I hope this summer break has been a great one for you and your
family. The new school year is just around the corner as classes at Claremore Public Schools will resume
August 16. There are some important changes to the start and dismissal times I need to make you
aware of so you may plan accordingly.
Last spring we sent out surveys to our faculty and parents regarding Professional Learning Communities
and time modifications in our schedule. We asked which day of the week and preference of morning or
afternoon would work best for your families to either start later or have an early out release. The
results were overwhelmingly in favor of early out Fridays. Therefore, Claremore Public Schools will be
modifying the regular class day schedule on Fridays and will be dismissing students 55 minutes earlier
than the Monday thru Thursday regular class day schedule. Transportation will still run during those
days and students will be transported home just 55 minutes earlier.
Early out Friday will not begin until the second week of school which is the first full week we are in
session. These dates and other important information can be found on the Claremore Public School
website under academic calendars.

Regular Day times (M-TH) for High School and Junior High:
Start time: 8:15am
Dismissal time: 3:25pm
**Early out Friday times for High School and Junior High:
Start time: 8:15am
Dismissal time: 2:30pm
ELEMENTARY TIMES
Regular Day times (M-TH) for Elementary Schools:
Start time: 7:50am
Dismissal time: 2:55pm
**Early out Friday times for Elementary Schools:
Start time: 7:50am
Dismissal time: 2:00pm
