RSU Announces Men’s Soccer Schedule

The Rogers State men’s soccer program and head coach Derek Larkin have announced the schedule for the upcoming spring 2021 season, as the Hillcats begin their conference championship title defense.

Following the cancelation of the traditional fall schedule, this spring the Hillcats will play a six-game regular season over seven weeks, set by the Great American Conference in the GAC/MIAA joint conference partnership, followed by a four-team conference tournament over two weeks.

Rogers State will open up with an exhibition game on February 7 at Oral Roberts University. The Hillcats will face the Golden Eagles in the tune up match at 5 p.m. in Tulsa.

The Hillcats will then begin the season on February 20 with a trip to Newman, followed by the first home game, a 7 p.m. kickoff at Soldier Field against Northeastern State on March 5.

Rogers State will then spend back-to-back weeks on the road with trips to face Ouachita Baptist and Southern Nazarene on March 13 and 19.

The regular season will close with back-to-back home games at Soldier Field, beginning with a match against Harding to close out the month of March. The Hillcats will face the Bison on March 27 with a 3 p.m. kickoff.

Rogers State will wrap up the regular season with a rematch of last season’s championship game, hosting Fort Hays State on April 3. The game is set for a 3 p.m. start against the Tigers.

The following two weekends will be the GAC/MIAA Tournament Championships. Semifinals will be hosted at the top two seeds on April 10. The Championship will be hosted on April 17.
