Holidays are Stressful for Children in Foster Care: Consider CASA!

As we enter into this holiday season, children who have been removed from their homes and find themselves in foster care experience stressful times.

CASA of Northeast Oklahoma supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home and have the opportunity to thrive.

At this time, we respectfully request businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals to consider making a donation to CASA of Northeast Oklahoma so we can continue our work to make sure a qualified, compassionate adult will be there to fight for and protect a child’s right to be treated with dignity and respect and to learn and grow in the safe embrace of a loving family.

“Everyone has or will receive donation requests from many very worthwhile organizations,” said Mark Ogle, CASA of Northeast Oklahoma.  “We would just ask that everyone please consider CASA of Northeast Oklahoma when making year-end donation decisions.  Your donations will be used to make a direct impact on the lives of children who, through no fault of their own, find that their world has been turned upside down.”

CASA of Northeast Oklahoma is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving six counties (Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Ottawa, Rogers, and Washington), plus the Quapaw Nation and Shawnee Tribal Courts.

Also, don’t forget you still have a chance to enter for the drawing for the rocket ship playhouse. The rocket ship playhouse is on display at BancFirst, 1698 S. Lynn Riggs Blvd., in Claremore.  The new drawing date is January 31, 2023.
