The Claremore Police Department would like to congratulate our new Chief of Police, Steve Cox. Chief Cox has been with the Claremore PD for 17 years and has served as Claremore’s Deputy Chief since 2017. He is a 2020 graduate of the FBI National Academy, a 10-week course offering advanced comprehensive courses of study for law enforcement leaders from the U.S. and abroad. Chief Cox’s promotion is well-deserved and we’re looking forward to working with him as he continues to achieve great things.
