It is Wednesday evening. The sun has set, I have fed all of the animals on our funny farm, I gathered all of the eggs, hand washing each one in preparation for their Friday deliveries. I lead a glamorous life, friends. A couple of nights ago, I gathered eggs in a t-shirt and shorts, and tonight, I am bundled from head to toe. Oklahoma is lovely like that. The weekend promises 80 degree temps, but we have to survive a little cold front to get there. This week has caused spring fever to set in, but it also provided an excuse to break out all of the cozy jackets and coats in my closet. With Spring quickly approaching, I am excited to incorporate more transitional outerwear into my daily ensemble. From oversized cardigans to classic trenches, these lightweight jackets are some of the most prized pieces in my simple wardrobe. They can be effortlessly styled over jeans, dresses and leggings. They look great with heels, wedges and sneakers; you really cannot go wrong with chic spring outerwear. My most recent favorite is this gray Carri Cardigan Jacket from the Cara Loren Shop.
