Safenet Services, Inc., seeks a dynamic, ethical, mission-oriented leader to serve as executive director. Safenet is a full-service agency in Rogers and Mayes counties committed to creating a healthy, supportive environment for women and families healing from the consequences of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking through a variety of initiatives including prevention, a domestic violence shelter, crisis line, counseling, protective order assistance, court and sexual assault advocacy, supervised visitation, workforce empowerment, and intervention training, among others.
Core job functions include leadership and vision, board administration and support, program management, financial management, human resource management, grant management and oversight, funds management, and community and public relations. Preferred applicants will hold a degree in a related field (master’s preferred, but not required); have an understanding of violence against families; have experience in crisis intervention, domestic violence, and sexual assault; possess substantial leadership experience, including employee supervision and development; have financial management and budgeting experience (preferably including grant writing and compliance); show abilities to work independently and to write and speak for the public, as well as the ability to network with other social service agencies; and/or will show an eager willingness to develop in any of these areas where they may be lacking.
