Claremore Chamber Announces ‘State of the Chamber’

The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual State of the Chamber luncheon and awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 27, at the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center at Rogers State University. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Normally held in January, the luncheon and awards ceremony will feature keynote speaker Bryan Warner, Cherokee Nation Deputy Principal Chief. The Chamber will also present awards for 2020 Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year, recognizing excellence and distinction among the Chamber’s more than 380 members.

“We are excited about this year’s State of the Chamber. It is going to be incredibly difficult for our committee to choose the winners, because so many of our members did great things in 2020 especially while dealing with the challenges of COVID-19,” said Ashley May, Director of Communications for the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce.

According to Chamber President & CEO Barby Myers, “The Claremore community has a strong relationship with the Cherokee Nation, and the massive economic impact the Nation has on our area cannot be underestimated or overlooked. With so many topics of interest happening in our state right now, I’m sure that Chief Warner will offer plenty of interesting information.”

For Chamber members, tickets to State of the Chamber are available for $35 each at Claremore.org. Corporate tables of four can be purchased for $350.
