Claremore Chamber Hosts Inaugural Restaurant Week

The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce will host Chamber Restaurant Week during the first week of May, in an effort to spotlight area eateries. Each participating establishment will offer a Chamber Meal Deal from May 1 – 8. This is an ideal opportunity to visit favorite restaurants, both old and new, and to enjoy delicious food with a side of savings!

The inaugural Restaurant Week was scheduled for 2020 but was canceled due to COVID-19. This year, there are 25 participants. From bakeries to bars, Italian to Mexican, there are plenty of restaurants from which to choose.

A new component for this year is Restaurant Week Bingo! Diners will be provided with bingo cards to get stamped at each restaurant. If five stamps are collected during the week (does not have to be five in a row), cards can be turned in to the Chamber office at 419 W. Will Rogers for a chance to win a prize. On May 10, the Chamber will draw names on Facebook live.

“Restaurant Week is a new concept for us,” said Ashley May, Director of Communications for the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce. “We have seen it done in other communities, and we are excited for this chance to showcase our local Chamber restaurants.”

According to Chamber President & CEO Barby Myers, “Claremore has so many great restaurants! We are pleased with the level of participation for a new event, and we are thankful for our sponsors.”

Restaurant Week will begin with a kick-off party from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 29, at 6:19 Nutrition, located in NeMar Center. 6:19 will be offering a large combo shake and tea at a small combo price, and it will be the first chance to pick up a bingo card and the opportunity to win a fun door prize!

Restaurant Week is presented by RCB Bank. For more information, please contact Ashley@Claremore.org.
