GRDA Employee Group Helps CASA Kids

Employee Charitable Committee of the Grand River Dam Authority members Misty Kirby and Shannon Randolph recently presented a check to Angela Henderson, Executive Director, CASA of Northeast Oklahoma.

“Our committee is excited to partner with CASA,” said Shannon Randolph, Member, Employee Charitable Committee of the Grand River Dam Authority.

CASA is a regional court-appointed special advocate program that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child in northeast Oklahoma who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

“We thank the committee for their support of CASA and the children in foster care who receive our services,” said Angela Henderson, Executive Director, CASA of Northeast Oklahoma.  “We always say that it shouldn’t hurt to be a child.  Through their generosity, we can work to achieve our goal that every abused and neglected child in northeast Oklahoma has a CASA volunteer appointed to represent their best interests.”
