RSU Women’s Golf Completes First Day At NCAA National Championship

Rogers State women’s golf wrapped up the first day at the NCAA National Championships on Tuesday.

After 18 holes at the Par 72, 6,004 yard Chattahoochee Golf Club, the Hillcats turned in a card of 303 (+15) on the day.

Marelda Ayal leads the team in a group of seven tied at 16th after shooting 74 (+2). Kristin Gudmundsdottir is in a large group of 10 tied at 23rd with a card of 75 (+3). Jessica Green is in a large group of 11 tied at 33rd with a 76 (+4). Lydia Sitorus sits in a large group of 10 tied at 56th with a 78 (+6). Jaelyn Unger rounds out the squad in a large group of 14 tied at 73rd after shooting 80 (+8).

The Hillcats will continue play tomorrow in the second round. The first group with tee off at 12:10 p.m. CT with the other groups going off in 10 minute increments.
