The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce is in the home stretch of the 17th annual Santa Cash shop local promotion. This is the final week to get your hands on those little white tickets!
Santa Cash features local retailers, who give tickets to shoppers based on the amount spent in the store as an incentive to shop locally. This year, 24 sponsors and retailers are participating in hopes of keeping dollars in our community.
On December 12, a drawing will be held at Claremore High School’s stadium parking lot at 11:00 a.m., and six lucky winners will receive cash prizes! Drawings will be held for two $5,000 checks, one $2,500, and three $1,000. Winners must be present. An additional number will be drawn for another $1,000 prize, and that number will be posted online for a winner to claim.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s drawing will be held in the CHS parking lot, with attendees remaining in their vehicles unless their number is drawn. Social distancing and CDC guidelines will be in effect. Spectators can listen live on RSU Radio 91.3.
“We are doing our best to keep things as normal as possible this holiday season,” said Barby Myers, Chamber President & CEO. “It’s definitely different than years past, but we are excited to still be able to host Santa Cash. Our sponsors have really stepped up this year, and we are so grateful. We know Santa Cash provides a positive impact on our community businesses and brings joy to the winners.”
