CPSF Hosts Successful Virtual Brainiac Brawl

On Saturday, February 6, 2021, the Claremore Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) hosted the 12th Annual Brainiac Brawl.

The virtual event hosted 15 teams of eight in a spirited night of high-stakes trivia and fun. All teams competed in 6 rounds of trivia ranging from geography, books and authors, pop culture, sports stars, and more. The team, “Phyl’s Flyers,” came out on top this year and will be etched in history on the traveling trophy.

Even though Brainiac Brawl looked differently, we had a very successful event. At the end of the night, over $7,500 was raised to fund educational enhancements for Claremore Public Schools.

Brainiac Brawl was sponsored by the 2020-2021 CPSF Partners: Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma, Anonymous Donor, BancFirst, CF Industries, Cherokee Nation, Flintco, Hillcrest Hospital – Claremore, Jack Kissee Ford, Nees Realty, Pixley Lumber Co., RCB Bank, Red Crown Credit Union, Rescue Heat and Air, Robson Properties, Smalygo Auto Wholesale, Bill and Phyllis Snyder, Spectrum Paint, The Print Shop, TTCU, and Webber Family Foundation.

The Claremore Public Schools Foundation was founded in 1988 and is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Their mission is to “enrich the quality of education in the Claremore Public Schools.”  As of December 31, 2020, the CPSF has awarded over $1,800,000 to teachers and schools for materials, equipment, field trips, and a host of other special projects that enhance the learning environment for the children in Claremore Public Schools.
